I love this interpretation of her! She is my childhood hero

Thanks, Alla! I thought of you when I posted this. Pippi, despite wide name-recognition, never really made it as a childhood staple in America. But, I gather she's pretty big throughout Russia, and I wondered if she was in the Ukraine, as well.

Oh indeed she was! Her unlimited imagination and free spirit make her very admirable. I am surprised to hear that she is not as popular in the United States.

Mine too. Raghu especially likes gloating about how he too has a life almost like Pippi's. Living life outside of school makes for a major series of adventures. Happy belated 40th Joel. love, Hema
