December, 1997, pt. 2

Continuing the look back through an old sketchbook filled up during a ten-day Christmas vacation, here's some more of my day out at my father's place.

I received this book as a Christmas present, a book I was inordinately fond of. It was stolen from my studio within the year. Ah, art students.

Bric-a-brac.

Chicken coop.

Hoss.

I always like your work, but that second to last one is... man. Way to go.

i love the old sketchbook series. these are all so great! the beetle is my favorite. i've developed an inordinate fondess for bugs in general.

sketches are so much more fun than finished work, to me. the subject matter is so varied.

great stuff, but the coop sketch leaves me wondering "why did the chicken cross the fence?"

April,

Glad you like the beetle! I'm pretty sure there's more coming up!

Icthy,

Because of the scary man with the hatchet?
