I miss Will.

I missed my chance to post this on both his birthday (March 6) and the first anniversary of his death (January 3), but here's a piece I did in rememberance of Will Eisner for a commemerative issue of... uhm... some comic book magazine or another. One of the ones with nice production values. They all have such similar names, I can't really keep track of them, to be honest.

Speaking of the Mighty Mister Eisner, Boing Boing has an interview with Michael Dooley about The Education of a Comics Artist, which contains my interview with The Master.

On a totally different note, have you heard about the new book by Saparmurat Niyazov, the President-for-Life of Turkmenistan? Not only is it required reading for all government officials, students, and teachers, but if you read out loud three times, you go to Heaven! And if you read passages out of it in the mornings and evenings, you become more intelligent. Honest!

Now that is the sort of book deal I want. You hear that, AdHouse?

Also, Saparmurat Niyazov shot a copy of his book into space. I want that, too.
